- The Massachusetts Senate voted overwhelmingly to up the age you can buy cigarettes to 21. Is this higher smoking age a good move?
- The Massachusetts Gaming Commission yesterday nixed a proposal for a casino in Brockton. One objection was that it didn’t seem to be designed as a resort or destination venue. There was also a concern because the Mashpee Wampanoag are building a casino in nearby Taunton.
