- For those of us who make more than a million dollars the Massachusetts legislature has advanced a constitutional amendment to levy a so-called “millionaire’s tax.”
- Today in Holyoke the western Massachusetts veterans court gets its official grand opening. It’s been up and running for a few months. Like drug courts these are specially designated courts for veterans who get into trouble with the law.
- Former Massachusetts Governor Bill Weld is becoming a libertarian candidate for vice president, running along side presidential hopeful Gary Johnson–a former governor of New Mexico.
