What made The Short List this week?
- This week the Anti-Defamation League confirmed what for those of us who listen to the news a lot might have noticed. The ADL says it knows of 56 Anti-Semitic acts in New England during the first five months of this year, almost as many as the 61 reported in all of 2015.
- Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker’s administration is revising policies for when and how state police can hold individuals wanted by federal immigration authorities. State troopers will have more authority to detain certain individuals who are in the country illegally.
- This week is the five year anniversary of the devastating tornadoes that indiscriminately pummeled the region.
